Dear Girls in Tech members,
Happy New Year! We hope you had a great start to the new year, and we hope that this new year will provide you with many opportunities for learning new skills, and exciting meetings which might bring you one step closer to your dreams! As you’ve noticed, we’ve revamped our look to reflect our vibrance. Since the beginning of the year, our Board team have been working hard to secure new learning opportunities for you our precious members.
This year, GIT Paris’s resolution is to know you, our members, better, so as to provide programs more relevant to your needs. Also, we have many exciting plans lined up, and we’ll like to have as many of you benefit from it as possible (startupers stay tuned in for further announcements in future posts. Hint: Vivatechnology conference).
We’ll start here by giving away free/ discounted tickets for some upcoming conferences/ programs with our valuable partners. As usual, if you’re interested in receiving a free pass, we would like to ask you to contribute, in exchange, a blog post made by you on your experience at the event. The blog post could be long or short, in French or in English, sent within 2 weeks after the end of the conference. This blog post will be published on our Girls in Tech blog and social media channels, and we will add you to our mailing list. If you accept this, please send me an email : email@example.com with a « YES » and the name of the conference as subject, and with your name, email address, and job title in the body.

In addition, some of you asked about coding classes. We’re planning some in 2018, but in the meantime, to get you started, we would like to point you to a great resource where certification trainings are provided free of charge –> Open Hack Academy. If you would like to submit your candidature with them, we only ask you to mention that Girls in Tech Paris sent you. 🙂
Again, happy busy new year, the good kind of busy. 🙂
